Final Table Bios: Seat 3: Shannon Shorr (Las Vegas, Nevada) 627,000

Shannon Shorr is a 23-year-old native of Birmingham, Alabama. He was a star baseball player at Shades Valley High School, and attended the University of Alabama for two and a half years. He was working on a degree in Civil Engineering before he withdrew during his junior year to pursue his career as a professional poker player. His home base is Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but he spends the majority of the year on the road traveling the tournament circuit.

His has more than $2 million in career tournament earnings. His largest single cash came in 2006, when he captured the $10,000 Bellagio Cup championship. That was worth $960,690, and he'll pick up another half million dollars today if he can outlast the others and win the bracelet.
