Kristy Gazes - Event #49

After a raise to 400 from early position, Kristy Gazes reraised to 1,150 from middle position. Action folded back around to the original raiser and he made it 5,000 to play. Gazes moved all in and the player tanked. With a pained expression on his face, he eventually made the call and the players showed:

and as Gazes patiently watched the board, she heard someone yell "ten." The {6-Spades}

hit the river and as she stacked the pot, she laughingly asked, "Dealer, did you say ten?"

It was not the dealer, but was in fact the eliminated player, who was already halfway out the door, who called for the ten. Gazes now sits on a stack of about 39,000 chips.
