Kitai Fit to be Tied

Event No. 38 bracelet winner Davidi Kitai raised to 250 from under the gun, and got two callers -- the cutoff and the small blind. The flop came {J-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Kitai bet 600, the cutoff called, and the small blind folded.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}. Kitai bet 1,150, and again was called.

The river was the {2-Spades}. This time Kitai checked, and his opponent promptly tossed two 1,000 chips into the middle. Kitai rechecked his cards, exhaled, and went into the tank for three minutes. He looked across the table, then made the call.

Kitai's opponent quickly flipped over {A-Spades}{10-Spades} -- he'd turned Broadway. Kitai acknowledged he was beat and tossed his cards in the muck. He's down to 5,700.
