Put Your Hands Together

David Einhorn
David Einhorn
David Einhorn is having a successful Day 1. He appears to have the respect of his current tablemates. In a recent hand, Einhorn raised from middle position to 2,000, and the table quickly folded to the big blind who decided to see the flop, too.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and the BB checked. Before Einhorn could even grab some chips with which to bet, his opponent mucked. Einhorn currently has 63,500.

You may remember Einhorn for his deep run in the 2006 Main Event, where he finished 18th and donated all of his winnings to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Today he's sporting the same sky blue sweater with handprints of his wife and children he wore during that WSOP run. At the time he explained how you need good hands to win at poker, so he always brings his best hands with him.
