Garner Flops The Ace

The button opened with a raise to 4,000, before Mark Garner popped it up to 19,000 from the small blind. The action was then with Jeff Williams in the big blind who made a reraise to 45,000 total. The button folded and Garner flat-called.

They took a flop of {A-?}{5-?}{9-?} and Garner led out for 25,000. Williams then moved all in and Garner called for his last 50,000 chips.

Williams showed pocket queens, but Garner had flopped a three-outer with his {A-?}{Q-?}.

The turn was a {5-?} and the river a {3-?} as Williams nose-dives to 55,000 with Garner now up to 235,000 chips.
