Jack Ury Eliminated

The tournament's oldest player, 95-year-old Jack Ury, has just been eliminated from the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Ury had been playing very tight today and had basically blinded himself down to 700 chips when he decided to push them into the middle.

Ury held {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}, but found himself up against an opponent with {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. The board ran out {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Ury was eliminated. The few tables left in the Tropical Room all gave Ury a warm round of applause.

"I can't walk, can't see, can't hear, but I can still play poker!" said Ury. "I'll be back again next year...if I'm still alive!"

See you next year, Jack!
