Back to Stocks for Shak

In an earlier event during this year's World Series, Dan Shak set his laptop up near our media table and spent the better part of the evening running between his poker table and his laptop to trade stocks. We didn't see him trading stocks tonight, but he suddenly has a lot more free time to do so.

He raised to 3,500 preflop and was called by Chrstian Oman. The flop came down {Q-Hearts} {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. Shak fired out a bet of 10,000 and again Oman called. On the {6-Diamonds} turn, Shak made a large bet of 25,000. Oman, who had Shak covered, raised all in. Shak called.

Shak: {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}
Oman: {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}

Oman flopped a full house and won the pot when Shak couldn't spear an ace on the river. Shak was eliminated on the hand.
