Connor Terminates Vicary

Joe Connor moved all in preflop with a short stack, and he was called only by Paul Vicary, who had a still-shorter stack. Connor held {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} and was in good shape against Vicary's {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts}.

Trouble found Connor on the flop, despite finding top pair. It came out {8-Clubs} {10-Spades} {A-Spades}, making two pair for his opponent. The turn was the {7-Clubs}, and Connor needed to find one of the three remaining kings in the deck. Lo and behold, the {K-Clubs} ripped off on the river, improving him to the winning top two pair. Vicary was the one at risk of elimination, and now he finds himself on the outside looking in.
