Stockinger Rising

Cornel Cimpan limped into the pot, and Ben Grundy raised it up to 11,500. Rami Boukai called before Sigi Stockinger moved all in for a total of 34,500. All three players would make the call.

The board ran down {2-Spades} {A-Spades} {3-Spades} {8-Spades} {J-Clubs}, with the three live players check-check-checking it all the way down. In the end, Stockinger tabled {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {10-Hearts} for top set. To his quadrupling delight, Sigi watched each of his three opponents muck in turn as none of them could table anything better. After that big win, Stockinger goes from short stack to middle of the pack, sitting now on 140,000 chips.
