Hinkle Loses a Pot

Grant Hinkle raised from middle position and was called by the cutoff seat and the button. The flop came down {5-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Hearts}. Hinkle bet and both players called.

The turn brought the {7-Hearts} and the same action occurred; Hinkle bet and both called. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Hinkle fired again. The first player took a moment and then made the call. The button folded.

Hinkle showed {A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}, but lost to his opponent's {Q-Spades} {7-Spades} for a pair of sevens on the turn. Hinkle is down to 16,000 but still has average chips.
