Three-Way Action

Daniel Negreanu, Sam Khouiss and Allen Kessler saw a {6-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} flop. Negreanu bet out and both players called, prompting him to say, "I like the way this hand is progressing."

The turn came {Q-Diamonds} and Negreanu led out again and was called twice, again. There was more action on the river before all players staked their claim for the pot.

"I've got a flush," declared Negreanu but he mucked when he saw that Khouiss had a better claim for the high with {2-Spades} {2-Clubs} {A-Spades} {5-Hearts} and Kessler had the low sown up with {A-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {5-Clubs}.

Kessler -- 31,000
Khouiss -- 68,000
Negreanu -- 31,000

Chino Gets Rheem-ed

Chino Rheem - Out
Chino Rheem - Out
Chino Rheem opened the pot with a raise from the cutoff seat. Soheil Shamseddin called from the button, and both blinds (Matt Glantz and Scott Bohlman) came along as well.

The flop brought {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. Glantz fired a bet, Bohlman folded, and Chino put in a raise. Shamseddin ducked out, and Glantz called to make it heads up.

The turn card was the {7-Spades}. Glantz checked, and Rheem took the opportunity to make a bet. Glantz check-raised, and Rheem made the call, putting himself all in with the extra bet. The river would be the {9-Hearts}.

Showdown
Rheem: {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {5-Hearts}
Glantz: {A-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {7-Hearts} {2-Spades}

Rheem's aces up were no match for Glantz's flush, and Chino has been exiled to the rail.

Kessler Finishes Off Sammy

Sammy can't play it any more
Sammy can't play it any more
Allen Kessler has just taken the last of Sammy Farha's chips. It all went in on a {7-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} flop and Kessler held {A-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {4-Spades} to Farha's {Q-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {2-Hearts}.

The turn came {8-Clubs} and river {9-Diamonds} to confirm the enigmatic man's exit. Kessler's on 38,000.

So Farha So Bad

Jason Gray raised from mid-position and got calls from Allen Kessler, Jim Geary, and Sammy Farha in the SB. The flop came {K-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} before Farha bet and was called by all three opponents. Farha tried again on the {Q-Clubs} turn and only Gray hung around for the {J-?} river.

Farha led out for a third time and Gray raised him. Very surprisingly, Farha folded, leaving himself with just 4,400 chips. Gray up to 72,500.

"I'm drawing so thin"

No so happy after the river fell
No so happy after the river fell
Linda Johnson and Daniel Negreanu just went heads-up which ended with the demise of one of them. The turn had been dealt before Johnson was all in with {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {2-Clubs}.

"Oh, I'm drawing so thin," Negeanu mused as he opened {A-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {6-Clubs} after calling.

Not thin enough though for Johnson, as the river came down {10-Diamonds} to eliminate the first lady of poker.

Table Talk

Mike Matusow and Mike Wattel.

Matusow: "Mikey, how you doing?"
Wattel: "Thirty-five."
Matusow: "Right in your wheelhouse."
Wattel: "Yeah."
Matusow: "I'm not in mine."
Wattel: "Ah, you've got some chippers?"
Matusow: "Yeah. Eighty-two."
