David Pham - 24th Place
David Pham - 24th Place
In the very last hand of the night came our fourth post-bubble elimination in just six hands.

David "The Dragon" Pham open-shoved from middle position with his last 320,000, and Matthew Marafioti made the call from the big blind. Pham showed {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}, and Marafioti tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

The board came {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, and Pham is out in 24th place, earning $71,858.

Sorel Mizzi - 25th Place
Sorel Mizzi was all in before the flop with {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} against the {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} of David Baker.

After a flop of {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} Mizzi was in the lead but Baker caught two pair after the {K-Clubs} fell on the turn followed by the {A-Spades} on the river.

Sorel Mizzi is eliminated in 25th place, earning $71,858 while Baker gets a boast at the end of the night to 2,300,000.

Another Double for Tony G

Happy Tony
Happy Tony
Matt Marafioti made it 55,000 to go from middle position, Tony G moved all in for 183,000 from the big blind and Marafioti called. It was a race situation, Tony G's {A-Clubs} {10-Hearts} up against Marafioti's {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}, making Tony G trip aces.

"Reasonable flop," he quipped with a smile.

The turn was the {3-Spades}, the river was the {5-Spades} and Tony G doubled to 400,000.

Neil Chriss Bubbles

Neil Chriss
Neil Chriss
Alec Torelli raised to 50,000 from the button, Neil Chriss called from the small blind and Greg Raymer called from the big blind.

The flop was {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {6-Hearts}. Chriss led out for 100,000, Raymer folded, and Torelli slid out a tall stack of green 25,000 chips, setting Chriss all in. He made the call.

Chriss {A-Spades} {4-Spades}
Torelli {8-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}

Though Chriss flopped top pair, Torelli had an open-ended straight draw and filled it on the turn when the {5-Spades} fell. The river was the {9-Spades} and Neil Chriss earned the unfortunate title of $40K bubble boy.

Our 27 remaining players are all in the money and guaranteed at least $71,858 for their efforts.

With 9:17 remaining in Level 18, the clock was paused and a card was drawn to determine the number of hands that will be played at each table before we wrap up for the night. It was a six, ergo, six more hands.
