Play Slowing Down

Following the break the play has been extremely slow.

We haven't seen a flop on one table, while the other is happy to fold to a single raise as pots get pushed round and round.

With several stacks under the ten-big blind mark, it was expected that a final table fairly quickly - but at the current pace, who knows how long we'll have to wait till we reach the final nine.

Andrew Radel Doubles Up

Marc Tschirch made it 20,000 from under the gun and Andrew Radel reraised all in from the small blind for 63,000. Tschirch made the call.

Tschirch: {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}
Radel: {10-Spades} {10-Hearts}

The flop came {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} {8-Diamonds} putting Trchirch in the lead, but when the turn and river came {3-Spades} {2-Spades} Radel caught running flush cards to survive and take the pot.

Radel - 135,000
Tschirch - 183,000

Pirinen Chips Up

Jason Dewitt limped in from middle position as did John-Paul Kelly and Alexey Popov to see Petteri Pirinen check his option in the big blind.

Dewitt lead out for 14,000 on the {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop and after a call from Kelly and fold from Popov Pirinen announced a raise of pot.

Before Pirinen even had time to grab some chips both Dewitt and Kelly's cards had been flung into the muck to see Pirinen climb to 150,000 and change.

Tschirch Takes a Pot From Carlston

Marc Tschirch

Kyle Carlston raised to 17,500 from the cut off and Marc Tschirch came over the top for 40,000. Carlston called and they saw a flop of {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} . Tschirch led out for 40,000 and took down the pot.

Tschirch - 230,000
Carlston - 315,000

Blake Stepp Eliminated in 15th Place ($9,919)

Blake Stepp - 15th Place
In a battle of the blinds Kyle Carlston raised to 12,000 from the small blind and Blake Stepp made it 48,000 to go from the big blind. Carlston reraised enough to put Stepp all in and he made the call.

Carlston: {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs}
Stepp: {A-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}

The board comes {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {6-Hearts} {K-Hearts} and for a second time Carltson outflops Stepp.

Stepp is eliminated in 15th place collecting $9,919.

Michael Roche Eliminated in 16th Place ($7,586)

David Sands opened to 21,000 from the button and found a caller in Michael Roche in the small blind before Jason Dewitt made it 64,000 to go from the big blind.

Sands passed, but Roche pushed all in with Dewitt quick to call.

Roche: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Dewitt: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The flop of {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} would see Dewitt surge into the lead, and when the {7-Diamonds} and {3-Hearts} fell on the turn and river and Roche hit the rail in 16th place.
