Gray Doubles Up
Gray squeezed his draw card and made an easy call with 7-6-5-4-2. Zalewski paid him off with a 10.
With the blinds and antes, Gray is now at about 31,000 in chips.
Bryan Colin Eliminated by David Benyamine
Colin's J-T low couldn't stand up to Benyamine's 9-7-5-3-2 and he made a quiet exit. After the hand, Benyamine was up to 175,000.
Kicker Problems Cripple the Champ
After the draw, action checked to Matusow. He bet 20,000 with 9-7-5-4-3 and was called by Wahlbeck... who showed 9-7-5-4-2. This brutal showdown left Matusow with just 18,000 chips.
Matusow Draws Perfect, Triples Up
De Wolfe showed J-7-5-3-2. Karas had him beat with 9-7-6-4-2 and everyone waited as Matusow showed 7-6-2 and peeled up his two down cards.
"Yeah, baby!" cried Matusow.
He drew perfect, picking up a 3 and a 4 to make 7-6-4-3-2 and tripled up to 56,000. Karas took the side pot and was up to 55,000 while the hit barely dented De Wolfe's massive stack-- he still has about 200,000.
BoostedJ Says "Let It Snow!"
Bruno Fitoussi draws one.
Hertzel Zalewski draws two.
Smith raps pat.
Patrick Bueno draws one.
After the draw, action checked to Smith, who led out for 23,400. Everyone else folded, prompting Smith to open his hand: 4-4-2-2-A.
"Those any good?" Smith cheekily asked. He's up to 215,000 in chips.
Matusow's Comeback Cut Short
Matusow drew first and stood pat. That action prompted a tank from Binger before he too rapped pat. Matusow's hand was 10-8, which was no good against Binger's 9-7-5-4-2. With that pot Binger climbed to 150,000 and Matusow left the Amazon Room.
