Will Not Thrilled at the Moment

Will "The Thrill" Failla has just been knocked down to 9,000 chips, and he was not happy about it. The board showed {Q-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}. Failla bet 1,500 on the flop, and 3,000 on the turn with his opponent calling both bets. Both players checked the river, and Failla's foe tabled {Q-?} {J-?}. It was the winner; Failla looked to be steaming as he flung his cards into the muck.

Dwan vs. Le: Tug of War

Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Nam Le are tangled up in what has to be the toughest match in the room. On a flop showing {10-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {3-Hearts}, Dwan bet out 1,700, and Le called.

Fourth street was the {5-Spades}, and both players checked. When the {7-Spades} hit the river, Dwan grabbed chips and looked like he wanted to make a bet. After a moment though, he thought better and both he and Le checked.

Nam Le tabled {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}, and it was good enough to win him the pot and give him just a very slight lead over durrrr.

Rajkumar vs. Ng: Vivek Crippled

Vivek Rajkumar raised with the button to 600, and Evelyn Ng reraised to 1,700. Rajkumar four-bet it to 5,200, and Ng made the call.

The flop came {5-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}. Ng led out into the pot with a bet of 4,500, and Rajkumar called. Fourth street came the {K-Clubs}, and Ng passed this time. Rajkumar bet 10,500, Ng moved all in, and Rajkumar called.

Showdown
Ng: {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}
Rajkumar: {4-Hearts} {5-Clubs}

Rajkumar had flopped two pair to put Ng in danger of elimination. The river would bring the {A-Clubs} though, improving the lady to the winning trip aces and sending Rajkumar down to 7,000.

Level 2

Players move to Level 2 with blinds of 150/300.

In this heads-up tournament, blind levels will be only 20 minutes.

Two Done

Hoyt Corkins has won his first-round battle already, standing up from his chair and looking around the room with a lost stare in his eyes. We're not 100% sure who he beat as it happened so quickly, but we think it may have been Jonathan Little.

EDIT: It wasn't Little. It was Vadim Trincher.

And just now, the second match has ended, as Justin "BoostedJ" Smith dispatched with an unrecognizable online player.
