Hellmuth Finds His Seat, Gets Comfortable

Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth returned from the break and initially started to sit down at the table where he'd been just prior to being moved right before dinner. He was redirected, and finally found his correct seat at a table with Vanessa Rousso, Jeff Madsen, and a yet-to-arrive David Singer.

"What are the blinds?" said Hellmuth, the action on him for his first hand back. He raised to 1,200, winning the antes and blinds. Madsen had folded from the small blind. "I'd have called you Madsen if you shipped it," said Hellmuth. Madsen is currently down to about 6,000.

On the next hand, Hellmuth limped in, and he and the big blind saw a flop of {J-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Both checked. The turn was the {9-Hearts}. The BB checked, Hellmuth tossed out a bet of 500, and his opponent folded.

Singer arrived, taking the seat to Hellmuth's left, and the Poker Brat immediately narrated the previous hand to him.

Hellmuth limped again the third hand back, but folded when the player on the button pushed all in for 3,150 total. Hellmuth has about 24,000 at the moment. Rousso has 8,500, and Singer 31,000.
