Perry Ticks Upwards

Ralph Perry just took more than 100,000 chips off of Rifat Palevic without a showdown. Palevic opened preflop with a raise from middle position that Perry called out of the small blind. Both players checked when the dealer spread a flop of {A-Hearts} {j-Clubs} {9-Clubs}.

On the turn {J-Diamonds}, Perry checked again and then called a probing bet of 21,000 from Palevic. The river fell {6-Hearts}, with Perry checking a third time. Palevic took that third check as an invitation to bet 60,000. Perry dwelled on this bet for thirty seconds before raising to 140,000. It was a raise that caused Palevic to muck his hand.

Perry: 400,000
Palevic: 275,000

Change the Station!

While we're on a break, David "Devilfish" Ulliott has picked up the TD's microphone and is singing "All Shook Up" to the whole Amazon Room. Everyone's ears are bleeding.

Jonathan Cantor Busto

That's it for Jonathan Cantor. He moved in with {K-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} and was up against John Kabbaj's {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {5-Spades}. There was no help for Cantor on the board. He's gone, and with that we're on a break for a re-draw.

Tatalovich Doubles Up

From under the gun, Richard Tatalovich raised to 21,000 and Edward Ochana and Jonathan Cantor made the call.

The flop came {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} and after a check from Ochana in the big blind, Tatalovich moved all in for 24,000. Ochana folded and Cantor made the call.

Tatalovich: {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}
Cantor: {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} allowing Tatalovich to double up.

Tatalovich - 114,000
Cantor - 40,000

Marcus Ducks and Dodges to Double Up

We've seen Van Marcus run good before, so it was no surprise to see him run good here today. In a four-way limped pot, Marcus led out for pot (27,000) on a flop of {2-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}. Action passed to Isaac Baron on the button, who asked for a count on Marcus -- about 100,000 total -- and then raised pot. Marcus called with {2-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {5-Clubs}, a set of deuces. Baron showed down a huge draw, {K-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}, but couldn't hit on the {10-Spades} turn or {K-Spades} river.

Marcus is up to about 200,000. Baron is down to 320,000.
