Aces Crack for Boeree

Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree
When an early position player moved all in, the hijack made the call and Liv Boeree moved all in with her short stack from the cutoff.

Early Position: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Hijack: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Boeree: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

Boeree survived the flop of {4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}, but couldn't sidestep the {9-Diamonds} on the turn. When the river brought the {10-Diamonds}, Boeree's day was done.

Also eliminated recently were fellow Brit Joe Beevers and Ireland's Andy Black.

Tony Dunst Gets a Double Up

When the small blind raised to 800, Tony Dunst re-raised 2,200. The small blind re-raised all in for 6,800 and Dunst called.

Small Blind: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Dunst: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

Dunst flopped the flush draw on a board of {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades} and made his hand with the {4-Hearts} on the turn. The {10-Clubs} on the river didn't change a thing, and Dunst now has 15,600.

Beevers Loses a Race

Joe Beevers is having a hard time getting off a short stack. After building up chips over the past hour, he got in a preflop race while holding {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} against his opponent's {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

When the board came {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, Beevers got rivered and fell back to just 4,000.

Shannon Shores Up His Stack

When an early position player raised to 600, Shannon Shorr called from the button and brought the big blind into the pot as well.

Action checked to Shorr on a flop of {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and he bet 1,100. The big blind folded, and the early position player called. The rest of the board got checked down when it came {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, and Shorr took the pot after showing {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

His stack is now 24,500.

Half Gone

With just 850 players remaining, we've lost just about half of the 1,695 person field that started today's tournament at 12PM.

Nick Young bet 700 on a flop of {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and got one caller. Young then check-raised all in for 4,000 after his opponent led for 1,300 at the {A-Clubs} on the turn.

Young: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{7-Spades}

Young found no help with the {9-Diamonds} on the river, and hit the rail.

Shaun Deeb Wins a Race

Shaun Deeb found himself in a preflop race when he called his opponent's all in bet with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and found himself against {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

A flop of {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades} put Deeb out front and he only improved when the board finished with the {7-Clubs} and {K-Diamonds}. His stack is now 29,500.
