Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren
Billy "The Croc" Argyros opened with a raise from the hijack to 5,200, with Erick Lindgren the lone caller in the cutoff.

They saw a flop of {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades} and both players checked. The turn brought the {8-Spades}, and Argyros slid out 9,000 into the middle. Lindgren made the call.

The river was the {10-Spades} to complete the monotone board. Argyros checked and Lindgren checked behind.

"Two pair?" said a hopeful Croc, but Lindgren flipped {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush to take it down.

Lindgren is well placed with 165,000 chips while Argyros is left with just 24,000.

Hanson Doubles Through Grundy

John Hanson has doubled up through Ben Grundy with all of the chips in on a flop of {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

Grundy tabled {J-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for two pair as Hanson showed {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades} for just a pair of deuces and baby flush draw.

However, the turn changed things up when the {Q-Clubs} landed to give Hanson two pair before the river bricked the {5-Hearts}.

"Well played," sighed Grundy as Hanson doubles to 85,000.
