Greenstein Takes a Chunk of Lopez

Barry Greenstein bets 25,000 on the flop of {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} after Karlo Lopez checks. Lopez calls. Greenstein then fires 50,000 on the {5-Hearts} turn and another 50,000 on the {J-Hearts} river.

Lopez calls both, but mucks on the river when Greenstein shows {A-Hearts} {8-Spades}

Zachary Humphrey Eliminated in 9th Place ($27,199)

Zachary Humphrey - Eliminated 9th
Zachary Humphrey - Eliminated 9th
Action folded to Zachary Humphrey, who moved all in for his last 10,000 from late position. When Karlo Lopez got out of the way, Humphrey went heads up with Randy Haddox who was in the big blind.

Humphrey: {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Haddox: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The flop of {Q-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades} was good for both players, giving Humphrey top pair and Haddox an up and down straight draw. Both players improved with the {7-Hearts} on the turn and Haddox finally put the hand away by hitting Broadway with the {A-Clubs} on the river.

Humphrey left in 9th place with $27,199.

Schwartz with the Re-steal

Karlo Lopez raises to 41,000 and Ylon Schwartz reraises to 125,000 from the big blind and gets his opponent to give it up.

Habib Doubles Through Greenstein

Hasan Habib
Hasan Habib
Action folded to Barry Greenstein in the small blind, who raised enough to put Hasin Habib all in from the big blind. Habib made the call for his tournament life.

Habib {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Greenstein: {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{J-Clubs} provided no help for either player and the {10-Spades} on the turn brought the possibility of a split pot if the board double paired. The {10-Clubs} on the river meant no chop, and Habib's kicker played, doubling his stack to 76,000.

Slight Delay

We've just a delay for the WSOP Bracelet Ceremony for the national anthems of the US and the UK as the countries of the bracelet winners.

I say national anthems, but they actually played the Sex Pistols version of God Save The Queen - which was very cool.

McGuiness Doubles; Greenstein Would Have Boated

John McGuiness
John McGuiness
Barry Greenstein raised to 45,000 from middle position and John McGuiness moved all in for 301,000 from the button. Action moved to Matthew Woodward, who tanked on the big blind before moving his stack all in.

Greenstein mucked {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and we went heads up to the flop.

McGuiness: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Woodward: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The flop was a monster, falling {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}, giving Woodward top two and Greenstein a set, if he'd played. The turn brought the {7-Spades} and McGuiness' set, which held when the river brought the {2-Diamonds}.

McGuiness is now up to about 605,000.

Greenstein Steals

Barry Greenstein used his new found chips aggressively in the first No-Limit hand, moving his stack all in from middle position to steal the blinds and antes.

Zach Humphrey, following Greenstein's lead, executed the same exact play on the next hand.
