Christian Rachel Eliminated by Josh Arieh

After a raise to 6,100, four players saw a flop of {J-Clubs} {8-Spades} {3-Clubs} and the action was checked around. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Josh Arieh checked from the small blind. Christian Rachel bet 15,000, but only Arieh called. The river fell the {6-Spades} and Arieh moved all in for his remaining 18,000. Banks called, but mucked as soon as he saw Arieh's {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {3-Spades} for a six-high straight.

With that pot, Arieh is up to 80,000.

David Iammarino Serves Up a Double Elimination

Four players saw a flop of {A-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} . Craig Fishman in the small blind led out for 10,000, Valter Farina made the call from the big blind as well as David Iammarino from under the gun. The button folded his hand.

The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and Fishman moved all in for 6,100. Farina raised to put himself at risk for 11,300. Iammarino called, having them both covered.

Fishman: {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {6-Spades} {2-Spades} (broadway)
Farina: {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {J-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} (broadway)
Iammarino: {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} (set of tens)

The river paired the board with the {A-Clubs} giving Iammarino a full house and the pot. He eliminates both Fishman and Farina and moves up to 102,000.

Jose Tavares Eliminated by Matt Graham

Matt Graham
Matt Graham
Four players, including Matt Graham and Jose Tavares saw a flop of {A-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {6-Spades}. Tavares checked from the big blind, his early position opponent checked, Graham bet 7,000 and the button called. With the action back on Tavares, he potted to 38,000, earning a fold from the early position player. Graham, however, moved all in, and the button got out of the way before Tavares made the call.

Graham {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {8-Clubs}
Tavares {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs}

Tavares had bottom two pair and a gutshot straight draw, while Graham was looking at top pair and an open-ended straight draw. Graham filled it on the turn when the {5-Clubs} landed and dragged the pot once the {A-Diamonds} fell on the river, eliminating Tavares in 50th place.

After the hand, Graham was up to 145,000.

Robert Saltiel was all in before the flop with {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} {10-Diamonds} facing the {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {10-Spades} {6-Diamonds} of Josefino Manalo.

Alex Kravchenko Eliminated

Alex Kravchenko
Alex Kravchenko
Alex Kravchenko opened for 6,000 from UTG+1, Pouya Majd, to his immediate left, moved all in for 24,600 and Kravchenko made the call.

Majd {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {4-Spades}
Kravchenko {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} {7-Hearts} {5-Clubs}

Majd hit the flop hard, which came down {J-Spades} {9-Spades} {8-Clubs}, giving him top pair and the nut flush draw. The {4-Diamonds} on the turn made him two pair and he filled up on the river with the {J-Clubs}, knocking Kravchenko's stack all the way down to 900.

Though Kravchenko was able to double up on two consecutive hands, taking his stack back up to 4,600, he was eliminated a short time later and is now free to concentrate on the $10,000 stud tournament, where he still has a stack.
