Before we even had time to draw up the new seating plan for our final three tables and count our remaining runners' chips, the following gentlemen players busted out in quick succession:
Brandon Leeds got his chips in before seventh street, and was thoroughly ahead -- he held queens and sevens to Jose Paz' sixes and threes. To lots of shouting from various folks crowded around the table, Paz' last card came down -- and it was a three to give him a full house and send Leeds to the rail.
Max Stern had all but 10,000 of his stack in the middle by seventh street, at which point he checked. Jose Paz checked too, and it was a lucky escape for Stern -- his pair of threes was good as Paz only had a low and ace-high, and they chopped the pot.
