Katchalov Holding Steady

The table folded to Blair Hinkle who raised to 35,000 from the button. The small blind folded, and after some consideration Eugene Katchalov called.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Katchalov quickly checked, and Hinkle tossed out a continuation bet of 55,000. Katchalov spent about a minute riffling some yellow (1000) chips, then grabbed some greens and oranges -- a reraise to 165,000. Hinkle quickly folded.

Katchalov has been hovering right around the 785,000 he has presently. Hinkle has lost a few over the last half-hour -- he's down to about 495,000.

Mathews Takes Most of Van Fleet's Stack

The table folded to Roy Mathews who completed from the small blind. Then Jon "Apestyles" Van Fleet raised to 31,000 from the big blind. Mathews responded with a reraise to 225,000, and Van Fleet pushed all in over the top. Mathews called with his remaining chips, putting himself all in for 405,000 total.

Mathews showed {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Van Fleet {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The board went {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, and after falling back earlier Mathews is now back up to 822,000. Van Fleet is now crippled down to 64,000.

Schaefer's Kings Catch Katchalov

Blair Hinkle limped in under the gun, Andrey Zaichenko raised to 75,000 from the cutoff, Eugene Katchalov called from the button, then Thorsten Schaefer shoved all in for 611,000 from the big blind. Hinkle and Zaichenko skedaddled, but Katchalov thought for a long while then made the call.

Katchalov had {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Schaefer {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. The board came {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, and Schaefer is now up to 1.3 million. After holding steady near the top of the leaderboard most of the night, Katchalov suddenly plunges to 288,000.

Blair Hinkle Eliminated in 23rd Place ($26,824)

The fireworks continue over at Table #58. Peter Feldman opened with a raise from the button, and Blair Hinkle reraised from the big blind. Feldman came over the top all in, and Hinkle called, committing all of his 425,000 chips.

Hinkle showed {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, and Feldman {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. The flop came {8-Clubs}{K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, giving Feldman kings and the lead. The turn was the {6-Spades} and the river the {6-Hearts}, and Hinkle is out in 23rd. Feldman is now at 1.4 million.

Hilaire Spikes Ten, Wins Million-Plus Chip Pot

James St. Hilaire open-raised from the button for 50,000, and Jonas Wexler -- fresh off winning that big hand just before to knock out David Chiu -- reraised to 113,000 from the big blind. St. Hilaire came back over the top for 599,000 total, and Wexler called instantly.

Wexler showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, while St. Hilaire had {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The flop came {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, and Wexler was still good. But the turn was the {10-Spades}, and suddenly Wexler was looking for a king. The river was the {3-Spades}, and St. Hilaire is now up to 1.2 million while Wexler falls back again to 680,000.

Raymond Davis Eliminated in 21st Place ($26,824)

Raymond Davis has been short-stacked but hanging on for most of the latter part of the day. Just now he ended up all in for his last 195,000 before the flop with {Q-Hearts}{8-Spades} and hoping to catch a card to beat Sean Keeton's {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Keeton was still ahead. Then the turn brought the {Q-Clubs}, putting Davis in the lead. But the river {K-Clubs} gave Keeton the flush and Davis is out. Keeton now has 900,000.
