Action folded to the recently action-prone Phil Hellmuth on the button. He opened for 15,000 and was called by the small blind before the big blind paused to consider his action.
"Squeeze play?" Hellmuth asked the big blind, whose only reply was to re-raise to 42,000. Hellmuth and the small blind both called to a flop of . The small blind checked it over to the big blind, who bet 45,000. Hellmuth and the small blind both folded.
Hellmuth wanted to know what his opponent held.
"I had a hand...not on that flop, but I had a hand," the big blind replied. He flashed .
"I had you beat," replied the Poker Brat. That may have been true, but the pot was shipped to the big blind.

With the pot sitting at approximately 100,000, two players checked over to John Myung on the turn. The board read . Myung bet out three tall towers of yellow T1,000 chips, totaling 60,000. He had 80,000 behind. The first player tanked and then mucked after over a minute of thought. The next player also tanked and another minute later mucked as well. Myung boosted his stack to nearly 250,000 with that pot.
Poor Joe Capello. With fewer than 40 eliminations remaining to the money, Capello got his short stack in the middle with . Big-stacked Marc McLaughlin called with . Each player connected on the , with McLaughlin's set of fives retaining the lead in the hand. The turn and river came two more deuces, and , to make each player a full house. McLaughlin's fives full of deuces was better than Capello's deuces full of aces.
Capello no longer has any chips or a chair. He's out.
Bingjian Wu made it 10,500 to play from early position and got called by Richard Kane and Eugene Fouksman before Phil Ivey raised to 48,000 from the big blind.
Action moved back to Wu, who re-raised Ivey an additional 115,000, which was enough to push everyone out of the pot.
Randy Crow was all in before the flop with , up against the of Kia Hamadani. The board ran out , and Hamadani's ace-high flush was good enough for the knockout. He's up to 165,000 now, while Crow is headed for the exit.
