Meet and Greet

While we were waiting for all of the players to fill out their bio sheets for ESPN before the start of play, several of the players were milling around and chatting with each other. Joe Sebok and Dennis Phillips had a lengthy conversation by the rail. They were eventually joined by Phil Ivey.

Ivey was dressed in a button-down shirt that was trailing out from under an over-sized PokerRoad sweatshirt. Sebok and Amanda Leatherman decided it wasn't a good look and Sebok went to retrieve a PokerRoad patch from his bag while Leatherman instructed Ivey to lose the sweatshirt. They got Ivey situated and sent him on his way.

"I'm not his mother," joked Sebok.

"It feels that way sometimes," Leatherman agreed.

Phillips, meanwhile, trailed after Ivey and asked Ivey to sign the red St. Louis Cardinals cap that Phillips was wearing, which already had several signatures on it. "I'm going to auction it off for charity," Phillips told Ivey. Ivey graciously agreed to sign the hat for Phillips.
