Like many of the event that aren't no limit, this one was loaded with notable players. However, as we get closer and closer to our final table, Barry Greenstein is the last of the PokerStars Team Pros left in this event. He's currently sitting with a less-than-average stack of chips, but we're sure he plans on changing that for the better.
David Williams, one of our overnight big stacks, has had a pretty good day so far.
After strolling in late and casually asking us whether we knew where his seat was, he settled in well and has been slowly but surely increasing his stack.
Just now we witnessed him raising from the button and picking up a caller in the shape of the big blind to see a flop. The big blind check-called the bet from Williams, and check-called again on the turn. Come the river he checked again, and this time when Williams bet, the big blind folded up.
Barry Greenstein was in middle position when he raised, getting calls from the small and big blinds. When the flop came , both blinds checked and Greenstein bet, getting a call from only the big blind.
The turn was the and the big blind check-called Greenstein before they both checked the on the turn.
Greenstein tabled , which was no good against his opponent's .
Jeff Shulman got his last in preflop with and was very much ahead of his big blind opponent's . He did nothing but improve all the way down the board, and doubled to 5,900.
