Here Comes Day 2

Today marks the official second day for Event No. 13: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em. There's 447 players remaining from the combined Day 1a and Day 1b fields that brought 3,042 payers to the felt. Out of those 447, only 324 of them will be paid and you can expect that money bubble to be broken at some point today.

Andrew Black will enter the day at the top of the pack with 90,275 chips. He emerged the chip leader from Day 1a and topped all competitors from both starting days. Pedro Reis finished second behind Andrew Black after the first starting day and will be second overall. Michael Lederer topped the field after Day 1b 77,350 and will be third overall.

Play kicks off at 2:30 p.m. local time here at the Rio. Top prize is worth a whopping $472,479 and you can bet that every last one of the returning players will be looking to do what it takes to get their hands on that money and the WSOP gold bracelet. Stay tuned!
