Break

The players are now taking their last break of the day. When they return we'll be playing two more levels before we bag, tag and hit the road.

It's Over for Stern

Dani Stern moved all in from under the gun for his last 10,475 chips and got called by Jan Skampa in the small blind and also the player in the big blind.

Flop: {7-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} and both players checked.

Turn: {10-Diamonds}

Skampa check-folded his ace-queen to a 15,000-chip bet from the big blind.

Showdown
Stern: {q-}{j-}
Big Blind: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

River: {6-Clubs} and Stern is out of the tournament just before the break.

Boudreau Does Broadway

Kevin Boudreau is now up to 86,000 chips after eliminating another opponent. We caught the action on the turn with a board reading {K-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

The small blind led out for 8,500 before Boudreau moved all in with his opponent making the call.

Boudreau: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-}{Q-}

The small blind showed top two pair but Boudreau had spiked his gutshot for a Broadway straight. The river bricked and Boudreau sends another one to the ever-growing rail.

Mueller Makes An Exit

Things kinda went south for Greg "FBT" Mueller following the dinner break. After being one of our chip leaders earlier in the day, Mueller ran into a few hiccups before his final chips went into the middle, never to return.

Facing an opening raise to 1,700, Mueller made it an additional 5,000 to go in position. Play folded back to the original raiser who moved all in with Mueller snap-calling his remaining 8,000 or so chips.

Mueller: {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board fell {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} to give his opponent a set and eliminate Mueller from the tournament.

Double Up for Levy

Adam Levy opened the pot shoving from the small blind for 7,650 chips, and the big blind went deep into the tank. After three or four minutes, the big blind, who had about 48,000 eventually called.

Showdown
Levy: {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Board: {4-Spades}{k-}{6-}{5-}{2-} and Levy doubled up.

Levy is now up to 16,000 chips.

Annie Duke had been battling the short stack for most of the day but she was recently felted and eliminated from today's tournament.

Eights Not Enough for Friedman

After a player in middle position opened the pot with a 900-chip raise, Prahlad Friedman went all in on the button for an additional 9,600 chips. Friedman eventually got called by his opponent who had him in bad shape

Showdown
Friedman: {8-}{8-}
Opponent: {9-}{9-}

Board: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

And that's the end of the line for Friedman.
