"The Magician" found a pair on the board to take it down. Esfandiari is up to 360,000.
James Dempsey won't be adding another bracelet to his wrist in this event after being taken out by David Benefield.
It was Dempsey's up against the pocket jacks of Benefield and when no help arrived for the overcards, the Brit was eliminated from the tournament. Meanwhile Benefield is stacking up 410,000 in chips.

Annette Obrestad will probably be pleased to get the monkey off her back with her first cash at a World Series of Poker event in the US. There's a lot of pressure and expectation on the young 21-year old who is plastered over magazine covers throughout the Rio.
Her first cash was just a min-cash after her last 500 chips went into the middle on the first hand back from the break against Samuel Trickett who showed .
Obrestad didn't open her cards and preferred to see the board first before she sweated her holding. She only needed to find a pair but she squeezed out and was eliminated from the tournament.

The bubble has finally burst, and Annette Obrestad has hung on for her first ever WSOP cash in the United States. The first of many, we're sure.
The unlucky bubble boy was actually John Dolan up on the feature table. As recalled to us by Steven Goosen, he raised it up to 10,500 before Dolan popped it to 26,500. Goosen moved all in and Dolan called off his last 70,000.
Dolan showed pocket queens but Goosen held pocket kings. The board bricked out and Dolan was eliminated as Goosen moved up to 430,000.
With that elimination the players have now finally gone on their 20-minute break.
Sam Iola raised to 10,500 under the gun and Vivek Rajkumar called on the button. The flop came down and Iola check-called a bet from Vivek. The hit the turn and Iola checked again. Vivek bet 35,500 and Iola put in a small raise to 75,000. Vivek called, delivering the on the river.
Iola slid a stck on 20 orange (5k) chips into the middle and Vivek called all in for 86,400, showing for the full house. One of the players at the table asked to see Iola's hand, which was revealed to be the .
Vivek: Up to 385,000
Iola: Down to 225,000
The clock has now been paused and the players have been told they will not be going on a break until the bubble has burst. This of course only has the effect of building tension and causing all players to simply tighten up - not exactly a sure fire way of bursting this bubble quickly.
It also adds additional time to the tournament, since the short stacks don't have to worry about increasing blinds for the moment.
Alas, the bubble continues...
Despite Annette Obrestrad hanging on for dear life with barely a chip and a chair, it didn't stop Alex Santiago from getting his last 36,000 chips into the middle preflop. Mike Leah had opened with a raise and he called the additional chips.

The board fell and Santiago fades the ace to double up to around 80,000. Leah slips to 92,000.
