Kevin (Kice32) Iacofano has been spotted in today's field. He final tabled this event last year finishing 3rd for $96,128. He's already off to a nice start in this year's WSOP, finishing 12th in Event #16: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed for $22,787.
This Hellmuth thing seems to be catching, as Jesper Hougaard, Jared Hamby, Kathy Liebert and even the legendary Eskimo Clark have also waltzed in just prior to the end of level one.

After the hand Force was left with only two T500 chips in front of him.
Despite being in the upcoming 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship, Tom "durrrr" Dwan is showcasing his appetite for bracelet gold by entering this event too. He's seated three spots along from Nenad Medic, and just picked up a small pot, his bet of 200 on a 
board enough to encourage four players to fold.

Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mericer has broken that 5,000 barrier after outdrawing an opponent. It was his foe who kick-started the action, raising it up to 150 from early position. The player one seat along called, but Mericer was less hospitable, making it 775 from the hijack.
The initial aggressor counted out his chips, restacked them, before sliding 2,450 across the felt with only a smidgen of confidence. Once the sandwiched player made the fold, Mercier called and showed 
. His opponent tabled 
. "I have Badugi," added Mercier with a rye smile.
Although behind, the board was kind to the former EPT winner, the dealer popping a 
onto the felt to deliver Mericer a straight at the very death.

Phil "USCphildo" Collins, Ravi “govshark2″ Raghaven, Christian "Charder30" Harder, Andy "BKiCe" Seth, Craig "craigthedeac" Boyd, Tristan "Cre8ive" Wade and David "Doc Sands" Sands are now in the Pavilion Room.
It's difficult to tell at this stage, but Tom Dwan could well be the current chip leader with 14,300. He's certainly leading the way for notable players.
Dwan is currently seated next door to Lex Veldhuis (who, incidentally, has 6,200).
