Katchalov Smacks River to Stay Alive

On the flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Eugene Katchalov bet and Jean-Robert Bellande called. The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Katchalov bet again. Bellande raised and Katchalov tanked for a little bit before calling all in.

"I've got the nuts with the nut redraw," announced Bellande. Katchlov heard that and smacked his fist on the table in disgust.

Bellande held the {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a wheel and a six-high straight. He also had the diamond redraw to go along with it. Katchalov held the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}.

The river was dealt out and the dealer placed the {3-Clubs} on the felt. Katchlov smacked the felt again, but this time it was in excitement as he nailed a full house to scoop half the pot and stay alive in the tournament.
