Javier Etayo Eliminated in 7th Place ($55,236)

Javier Etayo - 7th Place
Javier Etayo - 7th Place

Eddy Scharf raised from early position to 70,000 and Jeffrey Papola was up next. He flatted the raise before action moved one seat over to Javier Etayo. With a stack of 641,000, Etayo moved all of his chips into the middle. Action then moved to Jarred Solomon in the small blind and he went into the tank. After a minute or two, Solomon announced that he was all in, having Etayo covered. William Haydon was in the big blind and stood from his chair as he thought about his decision. After a little bit, Haydon folded and then Scharf mucked followed by Papola.

Etayo tabled the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and Solomon the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} making for the most famous coinflip situation of them all.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Solomon stayed in the lead. His rail began cheering louder as he grew that much closer to eliminating Etayo.

The turn brought the {10-Spades} and Solmon's queens held strong with one card to come. The river card landed with the {10-Clubs} and that was it. Solomon's ladies dodged the overcards of Etayo and he was eliminated in seventh place.

With his bustout, six players remain and they are now going on a dinner break until 8:45 p.m. local time with just under 15 minutes left in Level 24. We'll have official chip counts coming in just a few moments.

Now Cowley Doubles

Cowley doubles.
Cowley doubles.

We've had our third double-up at the unofficial final table.

Jeffrey "jpapola" Papola opened to 60,000 from the cutoff and Javier Etayo called with the button. Steve Cowley moved all in for 758,000 from the small blind. Papola folded and Etayo called.

Showdown
Cowley: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Etayo: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Cowley held when the board ran {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs} and he doubled to 1,480,000 chips.

Etayo is down to just 635,000 chips.

Papola's Turn

Jarred Solomon opened to 77,000 from middle position and the action folded to Jeffrey "jpapola" Papola in the big blind who moved all in for an additional 482,000.

Solomon went into the tank, counting his own stack and cutting out enough chips to call. He stacked an assortment of T1,000, T5,000 and T25,000 chips and held them with his right hand. After letting out a heavy sigh and thinking the situation through he finally pushed them forward to make the call.

Showdown
Solomon: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Papola: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board ran {6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Papola doubled to 1,125,000 chips.

Solomon's misread has him down to just over a million with 1,060,000 chips.

Solomon Doubles

This group wasted little time in getting the action roaring. Right from the get go after moving to the feature table, things got intense.

Steve Cowley raised to 60,000 from the hijack seat and then Jarred Solomon reraised all in for 680,000 from the cutoff seat. William Haydon was on the button and called. Cowley got out of the way and here's what we saw when the hands were turned up.

Haydon held the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and was behind the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} of Solomon.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} and Solomon's jacks held strong through the first three community cards. The {K-Spades} on the turn added a flush draw for Haydon and gave him a handful of outs more to win the hand. The river card completed the board with the {4-Diamonds} though, and that wasn't the card Haydon needed to bust Solomon. Solomon let out a massive roar and jumped into the arms of his railbirds who roared with him.

"COME ON!!!!" they yelled.

Solomon doubled to nearly 1.5 million and Haydon dropped back to 850,000.

Seven Left

Here's a look at the seat draw for the final seven players as they move over to the feature table stage under the bright lights.

Seat 1: Jeffrey Papola
Seat 2: Javier Etayo
Seat 3: Steve Cowley
Seat 4: Jarred Solomon
Seat 5: William Haydon
Seat 6: Joe Baldwin
Seat 7: Eddy Scharf

The plan is to finish out this level or lose one more player and then they will head out on a dinner break. There's about 45 minutes left in this current level as the clock was stopped to move over to the feature table.

Justin Smith Eliminated in 8th Place ($55,236)

Justin Smith - 8th Place.
Justin Smith - 8th Place.

When we arrived at Table 310, Justin "Boosted J" Smith was collecting his bag and headed to rail after being eliminated by Joe Baldwin.

Here's what the board looked like:

Baldwin: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Smith: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Board: {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flop was surely a sick sweat, and Baldwin eventually got there on the river.

Smith was eliminated in 8th place collecting $55,236 for his efforts and Baldwin is now well over two million chips.

Big Baldwin

Joe Baldwin opened to 55,000 from under the gun and Jarred Solomon re-raised to 142,000 on the button. The blinds released and the action was back on Baldwin.

Baldwin took his sunglasses off and went deep into the tank. Finally, after over a minute, he slipped his shades back on and made the call.

The dealer wrapped the table before flopping {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Baldwin quickly checked. Solomon continued for 153,000 and Baldwin returned to the tank. Eventually he called.

Both players checked the {k-Spades} on the turn and the river brought the {7-Spades}.

Baldwin eyed his opponent, taking his time before leading for 215,000. Solomon thought for a moment before folding and Baldwin was pushed the pot.

Solomon slipped to 550,000 chips and Baldwin is now nearing 2,000,000.
