Brrrr
It's cold in here. But despite the arctic temperatures in the Rio convention center, Eric "Blizzair" Blair couldn't bring the heat and headed out the door.

Phil Ivey and Helen Ellis are primed to but heads at our feature table. The two have well over 100,000 chips and Ellis appears fearless in the face of one of the best players in the game.

The flop fell and both players checked. The turn was the and Ellis led for 8,000. Ivey raised to 24,000 and Ellis folded.
Although Ellis released, this is the second time this level she's three-bet Ivey from the blinds.

It's been a really bad level for some of the field's biggest online stars. Chris "SLOPPYKLOD" Klodnicki and Aaron "Aejones" Jones just hit the rail. They join Eric "Blizzair" Blair and Eric "Avril Sharapova" Ladny who busted recently. Too bad there's not much left to register for online tonight.
Small blind Sanghyon Cheong and big blind Rodney Pennington got into a raising war preflop that resulted in Cheong calling all in for a total of 158,400. He held to Pennington's . The flop was exactly what Rodney didn't want to see. The on the turn was even uglier, meaning Pennington was drawing dead since a queen would give Cheong a better full house. Cheong doubled to 390,000, jumping to the top of the counts. Pennington, on the other hand, fell to 52,000.
Action folded to a player on the button who opened for 6,500. Phil Ivey defended his big blind and the flop fell . Ivey led for 9,500 and his opponent called.
The turn brought the and again Ivey led - this time for 20,000. His opponent cut out four orange T5,000 chips and set them aside under the steely gaze of Ivey. Eventually he put the chips back into his stack though and kicked his cards into the muck.
Ivey is now up to 170,000 chips.
Matthew Schwarmann opened from the cutoff and Andrew Robl moved all in for his last 31,000 from the button. Schwarmann called and was dominated.
