Ivey v Ellis

Phil Ivey and Helen Ellis are primed to but heads at our feature table. The two have well over 100,000 chips and Ellis appears fearless in the face of one of the best players in the game.

In a recent hand, Ivey opened to 5,000 from middle position and Ellis three-bet from the small blind. Ivey called.

The flop fell {4-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Ellis led for 8,000. Ivey raised to 24,000 and Ellis folded.

Although Ellis released, this is the second time this level she's three-bet Ivey from the blinds.
