Matusow Cools

Pot-Limit Omaha

It seems as though Mike Matusow may have (at least temporarily) won his latest battle of wits with Erick Lindgren. When we strode past their table recently, Lindgren was gone and Matusow was about to collect a modest, but important pot.

A player acting under the gun had raised to 450 with David Benyamine calling from the button and Matusow calling from the big blind. On a flop of {j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} the initial raiser bet 550 into the pot, leading Benyamine to fold. Matusow raised pot, which was close to 2,500 and took it down when his opponent folded.
