Mizrachi Loses a Pile to Brunson

2-7 Triple Draw

A while back we posted a hand where Todd Brunson lost some chips to Michael Mizrachi in a big 2-7 hand. This time it was Brunson's turn.

Brunson had called Mizrachi's raise before the first draw with Mizrachi drawing one card and Brunson taking two. Mizrachi bet again before the second draw and Brunson called with each of them drawing a single card.

Mizrachi continued to lead the betting with Brunson calling and both players standing pat. As you might have guessed, Mizrachi bet after the draws were over and Brunson called.

Mizrachi: {2-}{5-}{6-}{7-}{8-}
Brunson: {2-}{4-}{6-}{7-}{8-}

Brunson managed to come out with the better hand and is now at 32,000 while Mizrachi is down to 66,000.
