Carr Donates to the Sands Fund

Alexander Carr made it 24,000 to go from late position when David Sands re-raised to 62,000 on the button. Carr retaliated with an all-in raise and Sands made the call.

Sands: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Carr: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The flop was good enough for Carr when it came {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, but took a gut-wrenching turn on later streets by pairing twice with the {5-Hearts} on the turn and {8-Clubs} on the river, which Sands loudly requested from the dealer.

Carr is now at 315,000, and Sands is up to 560,000.
