Piper Plays a Merry Tune

Michael Keiner was all in preflop and both Trai Dang and EPT San Remo finalist Michael Piper both called.

They saw a {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and Dang checked. Piper moved all in for 23,200. Dang called and all three were on their backs.

Keiner: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for kings
Dang: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Spades} for a flush draw and a gutshot
Piper: {8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair

"I'm in trouble," said Piper.

As it happened, Piper promptly turned a full house ("Boom!" he said) and got the whole pot, putting him up to around 75,000. Keiner busted out with a polite nod, and Dang was left with just 6,000.

Said Dang: "I'm gonna play tighter now."
