Helppi was confident with his jack-high straight but Carlo tabled the same hand! They couldn't be separated through the turn and river as the pot was chopped. Helppi is currently around 35,000 chips.
We walked up to a flop of in time to see Neil Channing fire out a bet of 8,000. He was up against Roland Isra, and Isra stuck in a check-raise to 20,000 total. Channing responded by moving all in for 44,000, and Isra called to put him at risk.

Both players had flopped trips, but Channing was out-kicked and in need of some help to stay alive. The turn did nothing to change his plight, and the river failed to help either. Channing can't improve, and he's out of chips and out of Day 2.
John Kabbaj was all in with his short stack on a flop holding for the overpair. James Akenhead had the chips to call him down, and he did so with the inferior .
Turn:
A disaster for Kabbaj as Akenhead grabbed trip kings to take a big lead. Kabbaj was now one card from elimination, and the river was a blank to seal his fate.
Akenhead eliminates his fellow Brit, moving up to a very healthy 233,000 chips in the process.
Overnight chip leader Tony Paino is more than holding his own on the table of death. In fact, he's extended his chip lead to now sit with around 360,000 chips.
We caught Paino raking in some chips in a recent pot with Eli Elezra.
Elezra opened from under the gun to 4,200 with Paino making the call in position. They took a flop of and Elezra checked to Paino who fired 10,000. Elezra thought for a long time before sighing, "Tom would never fold this..." as he flashed .
Paino returned the favor and showed for top set! Paino is up to 360,000 with Elezra sitting at 96,000.
