Last night, 87 of the 291 entrants that began Event No. 7 bagged up chips to move on to Day 2. It's just about an hour away from game time for the $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Event and Salim Hanna will be walking into the Amazon room as the chip leader.
Hoyt Corkins was thought to be the end-of-the-day leader yesterday, but Hanna nudged out the 63,400 of Corkins by a mere 2,000 chips to claim the top spot. Also moving on to the second day of action are Allen Kessler, Jeffrey Lisandro, Greg Mueller, Steve Zolotow and Sorel Mizzi.
Play kicks off at 3:00 p.m. local time here in hot-as-hell Las Vegas. Only 30 of the remaining bunch will earn cash back on their $2,500 investment so get ready for a fun filled day of action. Stay tuned!

On the second draw, Zimmerman drew one and Seed stood pat again. Zimmerman then check-called a bet from Seed. On the final draw, Zimmerman drew one and Seed stood pat one final time. Zimmerman checked and Seed fired. Zimmerman folded and Seed showed him the to move up to 18,000 chips.
Robert Lay made an {4x], but couldn't get past Dallas Flowers' and was eliminated from the tournament. Flowers moved up to 16,000 chips.
