Aces Up For Bellande

Jean Robert-Bellande
Jean Robert-Bellande

Twitter is by far the biggest fad to have swept the floors of the WSOP since it's movement to the Rio.

One of the social networking and microblogging service's biggest tweeters is Jean-Robert Bellande under the handle of 'BrokeLivingJRB' who details the crazy swings he experiences on a daily basis playing poker.

Bellande - and of course all of his fans - will be happy to hear that Bellande has made a great start to Event 8.

Three players put 225 into the pot preflop to see a {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} flop fall and checks follow from all three players. The turn lande the {6-Hearts} and Bellande fired out 600 which was called by just one of his opponents as the other casually tossed in his hand.

The river landed the {K-Hearts} and after some deliberation Bellande tossed in a bet of 2,100. His opponent quickly made the call tabling his {K-Spades}{7-Spades} for two-pair, but it would be Bellande's {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a better two-pair enough to take the pot down as see 'BrokeLivingJRB' chip up to just under 10,000 in chips.
