Franco Cupello had been playing a very aggressive style while three handed, open shoving several pots preflop. He was finally caught after shoving preflop with when Jonathan Spinks woke up with in the big blind. Cupello went from drawing slim to drawing nearly dead when the flop came out . The turn and river brought the , and Spinks won the pot, upping his stack to around 350,000. He's now heads up with current WSOP player of the year frontrunner Amir Lehavot.
Lars Bonding and Jean-Paul Pasqualini were heads up and the two just got all of the money in preflop in a race situation.

The flop came out , and Bonding stayed out front. The turn, however, brought the , giving Pasqualini the lead. The river came the , and Pasqalini let out a brief yell of celebration, until Bonding pointed out that he made a straight. A dejected Pasqualini shipped the chips over to Bonding, 153,000 in total, and Bonding is now up to 310,000.
Andrew Glass has doubled through Robert Smith after he check-shoved a , Smith calling with what appeared to be and already drawing dead before the turn and river. Glass is up to the 100,000 mark.
David Pham has just knocked out a player to get to heads up, and he will carry a big chip lead into his battle. We didn't catch the action, but we came to the table as the chips were being shipped to Pham. The board read , and Pham had for the nut straight. He is now heads up with about a 3-to-1 chip lead over his opponent.
Taylor Paur had Robbie Verspui down to around 70,000 in chips before a couple key hands put him back in the match.
Paur looked like he had the match wrapped up when he had Verspui all in with versus his but the board ran out to give Verspui the win with the rivered
A few hands later, Verspui doubled up again when he had versus Paur's all in pre flop with no help for Paur on the board. Verspui had about 330,00 to 120,000 after the hand.
On the last hand of the table, the two got three bets in before the flop, and on the flop of , Verspui bet, Paur went all in and Verspui called. Paur showed and and Verspui for an open ended straight draw. The turn was the and Paur walked out as he was drawing dead. Verspui advances and we are now down to five tables.
Jon Spinks just eliminated Amir Lehavot after donk-leading then three betting all in with on a board with Lehavot calling holding . The on the turn meant Spinks was now freerolling the flush draw and he got there on the river.
Spinks said afterwards, "I don't deserve this, I got so lucky everytime."

Jean-Paul Pasqualini was all in preflop and got a call from Lars Bonding who held against his . Pasqualini got no help and Bonding won the table.
There are four heads-up matches left to play to decide the remaining four spots of the final two tables.
David 'The Dragon' Pham put his chip lead to good use and Jonathan Plens never had a chance to get enough chips. The final hand saw Pham raise with and Plens pushed with and failed to find the ace to save his tournament life. Pham will go into tomorrow as one of the favourites no doubt.
