Timoshenko Leads and Folds

Level 5 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Eric Froehlich made it 48,000 to go, and Yevgeniy Timoshenko made the call.

The flop came suited {6-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {4-Clubs}, and Timoshenko led out into the pot with 60,000. Freohlich grabbed raising chips and made it 150,000 total, and Timoshenko spent a moment starting with wide eyes. It looked like he was thinking sinister thoughts, but he eventually slid his cards into the muck.

Froehlich Sets a Trap but Timoshenko Doesn't Bite

Level 5 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Timoshenko min-raised to 48,000 and E-Fro came along, bringing a flop of {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. After a check by E-Fro, Timoshenko continued with 54,000 and again Froehlcih made the call.

The players checked the turn of {10-Clubs} and the dealer peeled the {A-Spades} on the river. E-Fro checked yet again and Timoshenko checked behind. E-Fro showed his {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for trips and was clearly frustrated that his opponent did not fall into his trap.

Yevgeniy Timoshenko Taking Control
Yevgeniy Timoshenko Taking Control

Timoshenko made the minimum raise to 60,000 and E-Fro decided to come along. The flop rolled out {8-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and Froehlich checked, prompting a bet of 70,000 from Timoshenko which Froehlich called.

The turn brought the {A-Clubs} and Timoshenko continued his line, betting 150,000. A call by Froehlich swelled the pot to 560,000 and the dealer revealed the {K-Spades} on the river. E-Fro checked once again and Timoshenko paused in contemplation, staring his opponent down and counting out a bet of 450,000 chips.

Froehlich went into the tank and riffled a stack of green 25,000 chips, perhaps assessing whether or not he could afford to simply call. Eventually he mucked his cards and Timoshenko's aggression earned him yet another huge pot.

Froehlich Wins Last Hand Before Break

Level 6 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Froehlcih made his standard min-raise on the button and Timoshenko politely asked him how many chips he had left before flat calling. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Hearts} and both players checked.

The dealer turned the {8-Hearts} and Timoshenko led out for 80,000. E-Fro went for the check-raise, making it 200,000 to go and Timoshenko folded his hand. E-Fro's excitable cheering section let loose with a loud cheer in the hopes of firing up their man as he heads to break.
