Racener Doubles Through An Unhappy Hellmuth

John Racener completed with the {A-Spades} and Phil Hellmuth (who was the bring in with the {3-Clubs}) raised.

"Let's get it in now, raise re-raise," Hellmuth said.

Racener obliged and was all in for 134,000.

Racener: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}/{A-Spades} - {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}/{X-}
Hellmuth: {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}/{3-Clubs}. - {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}/{X-}

Racener turned over (the {J-Hearts}) on seventh street for queens up and needed to dodge a {2-} or low card to double. Hellmuth slowly peeled, but was disgusted to see the {5-Hearts} for a losing pair.

"What game are you playing? Three-and-a-half big bets left and you get it in with ace-queen-jack? Write that on the internet," said Hellmuth (That last part to us).

"Had to try and double. That's a scoop!" said a jovial Racener.

Racener Revival; Hellmuth Forgives Him...For Now

After scooping a pot with a straight and low against Ted Forrest, John Racener is closing in on a stack of about one million.

"I guess you did have to play that Ace-Queen-Jack now that I think about it," said Phil Hellmuth.

"Especially after I already completed," said Racener.

Savinov Doubles Through Forrest

Forrest: {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}/{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Savinov: {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}/{J-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Mikhail Savinov was all in on fifth street against Ted Forrest. On sixth street, Savinov caught the {J-Diamonds} for a full house to lock up half the pot. Forrest hoped to catch a low, but the {J-Hearts} on sixth street and {10-Diamonds} on seventh brought no help whatsoever.

Hellmuth and Forrest Survive Through Rodawig

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hellmuth: {A-}{7-}/{5-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}/{10-}
Forrest: {X-}{X-}/{6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}/{X-}
Rodawig: {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}/{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}/{K-Clubs}

Picking up the action on fourth street, action was checked to Phil Hellmuth and he bet. Both opponents called him and on fifth street is when the pot really took off. Forrest bet his pair of queens, Rodawig raised, and Hellmuth re-raised all in. Forrest and Rodawig called and once sixth street came down, Forrest was all in as well.

In the end, Forrest's pair of queens held on for high, while Hellmuth's 7-5 low was best to keep both players alive.
