Bell Toils For Shak

Felipe Ramos: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs} FOLDED
Dan Shak: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades} / {x-}
Thomas Koral: {x-}{x-} / {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} / {x-}
Chris Bell: {x-}{x-} / {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} / {x-}

Dan Shak had the bring in and Thomas Koral raised, Chris Bell made it two bets and Felipe Ramos, Shak and Koral all called. On fourth street Bell bet, Ramos and Shak both called and Koral raised before everyone made the call.

Koral checked fifth and Bell bet, Ramos folded but Shak and Koral called. Koral made open queens on sixth street and checked, Bell bet and Shak moved all in over the top, Koral and Bell both made the call to see seventh.

Bell bet a final time and Koral folded, Bell showed {2-}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for aces and kings but it was no good against Shak's {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} which had hit a boat on sixth street.

Joining the action on fourth street where it was checked to Bretty Richey who bet, Alex Kravchenko and Phil Hellmuth both called. Richey also bet fifth and was again called in both spots before six street was checked to Kravchenko who bet, Hellmuth called once more but Richey folded.

Hellmuth check-called a bet on seventh but couldn't beat Kravchenko's {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for treys and deuces plus a 8-7-6-3-2 for the low

Mortensen Busts, Buchman Almost on a Quarter-Million

Carlos Mortensen

Eric Buchman: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} / {x-}
Jennifer Harman: {x-}{x-} / {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{K-Clubs}{K-Spades} / {x-}
Carlos Mortensen: {x-}{x-} / {2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}

Carlos Morternsen had the bring in and John Racener completed, Christoper George made the call as did Eric Buchman before Jennifer Harman made it two bets, Mortensen then made it three bets, Racener and George both folded but Buchman and Harman made the call.

Harman and Mortensen both checked fourth street and Buchman bet, Harman raised and Mortensen reraised all in. Buchman raised again and Harman called. We missed the action on fifth street but Harman bet her open kings on sixth street with Buchman calling.

On seventh Harman check-called a bet from Buchman, the latter showing {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for a flush, Mortensen could only show {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Spades} for rolled up deuces and no-one produced a qualifying low - hence Buchman scooped.
