Break Time

Level 20

The first two levels of play saw 10 players hit the rail, which is a pretty good pace for those hoping to see a winner crowned here today. Before that can happen though, the remaining 12 players need to take a 20-minute break.

One for Mackoff

PLO

David Lestock raised to 19,000 under the gun and Jonas Mackoff, who was next to act, came along for the ride. The rest of the field cleared out and it was heads up to the {Q-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop. Lestock continuation bet by leading out for 36,000, which Mackoff called.

Both players proceeded to check both the {4-Spades} turn and {8-Spades} river. "If you have an ace or queen, you have me beat," Lestock told his opponent. Mackoff didn't have either of those, but he did have {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}, which was just as good.

Scott Clements Eliminated in 14th Place ($14,324)

PLH

David Lestock raised preflop and Scott Clements, down to his last 60,000 or so, moved all in - Lestock called instantly.

Lestock: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Clements: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The board came {K-Diamonds} (and Clements already began to leave) {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs} as Clements made yet another deep run in a tournament only for the hands to not go his way.

Roger Hairabedian Eliminated in 15th Place ($14,324)

Roger Hairabedian (15th Place- $14,324)

PLH

A short-stacked Roger Hairabedian was under the gun and managed to get all of his money in preflop against Jonas Mackoff.

Hairabedian: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Mackoff: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Hairabedian was in a tough spot as he shared an ace with his opponent, who happened to hold the better kicker. The {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} flop gave Hairabedian some chop outs, as did the {2-Diamonds} turn. However, the {3-Spades} fell harmlessly on the river and Mackoff took down the pot with his ace-king high.

Hairabedian will take home $14,324 for his 15th-place finish.

Wilfried Harig Eliminated in 16th Place ($11,387)

PLO

David Baker raised to 16,000 and received calls from Cameron New and Mitch Schock. Wilfried Harig then called off his last 15,000 and four players saw a flop of {10-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Action checked around to Schock, who fired out a bet of 36,000. It was enough to get the other active players to fold.

Schock: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Harig: {8-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades}

Schock had flopped a set and was ahead of Hadrig; however, the latter had outs to an open-ended straight draw. The {8-Clubs} turn was no help to Harig, and he was left looking for a jack or six on the river. The dealer burned and put out the {4-Spades}.

Schock took down the pot while Harig, who hails from Hamburg, Germany, was eliminated from the tournament in 16th place.
