Duhamel Double

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

With the board showing {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and a considerable pot already built, Jude Ainsworth led with a bet, then Jonathan Duhamel raised all in for 143,000 more. Ainsworth cut out the calling chips, thought about 20 seconds, and made the call.

Duhamel showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for top pair of queens, while Ainsworth had {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush draw. The river brought the {9-Hearts}, and Duhamel survived with the double-up.

Duhamel jumps to about 375,000 while Ainsworth slips to 230,000.
