West Doubles

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Tim West was able to get his {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} all in preflop versus the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} of his opponent. Well, almost all in. He had one green 25 chip remaining and threw it in dark and his opponent called.

The board ran out {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and West doubled up to 7,300 with a straight.

Kagawa Missteps

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

We picked up the action on the flop just as Masa Kagawa was calling a bet from his lone opponent. We were too late to see the amount, but we caught the rest of the action as the turn put {4-Spades} {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {6-Hearts} on board. Kagawa checked a second time, and his opponent put out 4,200 into a pot of about 6,500. Kagawa spent a long while in the tank before splashing in the call, and the river came the {K-Clubs} to fill out the board. It went check-check this time, and Kagawa announced, "Ace". He flashed the {A-Hearts}, but he stopped himself before showing both as his opponent tabled the superior {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} to win the pot.

Kagawa is still having a good day, but that loss knocks him back down around 31,000.
