Ivey Recovers

Phil Ivey opened to 100,000 on his button, and Andy Frankenberger defended his big blind with a call.

on the turn paired the board, and Frankenberger checked again. When Ivey made his bet of 100,000, though, Frankenberger snuck in a check-raise to 225,000 total. Ivey was undeterred, and he called after just a moment's pause.

, and Frankenberger stacked up a bet. He had 225,000 in his hands ready to fire, but he thought better of it and checked with one finger. Ivey tapped the rail with an indifferent look on his face.
