Gabriel Nassif and Daniel Negreanu have just rumbled in a hand over on their table and we were there to catch all the action. Negreanu opend it from under the gun, a player a couple of spots to his left called, so too did the small blind and Nassif also called in the big blind.
On the flop, the small blind and Nassif checked and Negreanu bet. The player to his left called and the small blind put in the check-raise. Nassif opted to call and Negreanu got out of the way, along with the player to his left.
The turn would see the small blind bet and Nassif call. The then hit the river and this time the player checked. Nassif then flicked out a bet and his opponent called. Nassif tabled , his flopped two-pair enough to take down the pot.

Joseph Saccone opened it up from middle position and Shawn Keller made it three bets directly on his left. No other player wanted to rumble, while Saccone flicked in a call.
Saccone opted to check-call every street of the board as Keller tumbled in a small bet on the flop and a big bet on the turn and river. In the end, Keller's was strong enough to take down the pot and send Saccone's cards into the muck.

Here are how a couple of recent hands played out between some familiar faces.
- Firstly, we watched Terrence Chan and Richard Lyndaker take to a flop. Chan check-called a bet and both players then checked down the turn and river . Chan tabled his , enough to take down the pot and see Lyndaker's cards into the muck.
- On another table, a middle-position player opened it up and Eric Froehlich three-bet from late position. Casey McCarrel then four-bet from the button and the middle-position player got out of the way. Froehlich made the call and a flop was dealt. Froehlich opted to chack-call a bet on the flop and the hit the turn. Froehlich checked again, but this time raised when McCarrel flicked out another bet. Too strong for McCarrel, Froehlich took down the pot.

Matt Schreiber just brought it to our attention that he and Daniel Idema could become the story of the day if they end up going deep in this tournament. They both started the day seated next to each other and both incredibly short-stacked, with Idema at 3,500 and Schreiber at 500. That's all changed here early as Idema now has more than 11,000, while Schreiber has around 5,000.
